SRI Education Newsletter Template Redesign & Campaign Management

THE PROJECT: Redesign the look and feel of the SRI Education newsletter template. Transform it to a more user-friendly design that works well across mobile and desktop platforms. The original SRI Education newsletter template design was bulky, with too much text and too-small fonts. Click-through rates were declining. After the redesign the open rate jumped and click-through rates increased.

Designed and coded the template in Dreamweaver using HTML5 and CSS3. Collaborated on layout, image size, word count, fonts, and colors. Uploaded and tested the new template in the Campaign Monitor system, as well as across email clients and browsers. Revised the template as needed based on those results.

CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT

In addition to the design of the newsletter, I also managed the newsletter process: I populated the template in DreamWeaver, transferred that to Campaign Monitor, managed the content review and approval process, and released the final newsletter to the list. I tracked and reported open rates and click-through rates to the communictions team.
